Illa de Menorca Chamber Orchestra
The Illa de Menorca Chamber Orchestra (OCIM), founded in 1998, is the only professional orchestra on the island and brings together different generations of Menorcan musicians. It stands out for its high musical quality, versatility and cultural commitment, performing throughout the year in Menorca and collaborating with festivals and organizations on and off the island.
In addition to its artistic work, OCIM develops educational and social projects, training young musicians and bringing live music to hard-to-reach audiences such as nursing homes, hospitals and correctional facilities.
